Sean Thompson is Manging Director—IP Investments at Parabellum Capital. He also serves as the fund’s general counsel. Parabellum is a litigation finance fund headquartered in New York. Mr Thompson is responsible for all IP investments in the fund on a global basis. Before joining Parabellum, Mr Thompson was a practicing attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York and WilmerHale in Boston. Immediately before joining Parabellum, he served as senior litigation counsel at a patent licensing company. Sean earned his joint J.D./LL.M. from Cornell Law School, where he was an editor of the Cornell Law Review. He received his B.A. from Boston College and his M.S. from the London School of Economics.
