Vikran Duangmanee is the Head of Intellectual Property Management at SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited Co., Ltd. (SCGC), a leading integrated innovation company in petrochemicals in the ASEAN, with strategic operations in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. Vikran holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Policy from the University of Washington, USA. In her role as Head of IP, she has been actively engaged in various aspects of intellectual property strategies, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, IP business models, and transactions. Her expertise extends to IP portfolio management, IP valuation, licensing and the commercialization of intellectual property rights (IPRs).  She co-founded LES Thailand and served as the co-chair of Licensing Executive Society (LES) Asia Pacific Committee during 2018 to 2020. Vikran continues to be involved in the IP and Licensing Professional Communities, currently holding the position of Vice-Chair of Chemicals, Environment, Energy, and Materials Committee (CEEM) within the Licensing Executive Society (LES) International Committee, as well as being a Committee Member of LES Thailand. Additionally, she serves as a Committee of the Intellectual Property Professional Qualifications and Occupational Standard of Thailand. Vikran is also a lecturer on IP, Licensing and Innovations for universities in Thailand, including Chulalongkorn University, Sasin Business School, Bangkok University and Mahidol University. She frequently speaks for governmental, industrial and academic at many industrial conferences and seminars, addressing topics relating to Licensing, Intellectual Property, Commercialization of Innovation, and Intellectual Property Transactions. Some of her notable speaking engagements include APEC, IPBC, LES International, LES ASIA, IP PE&A Community, IP Expo Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), Department of Intellectual Property (Thailand), MU (Thailand)-NCKU (Taiwan) International Symposium.
