Lawyer from Universidad de Chile, LLM in Business Law UAI. 17 years of experience in Intellectual Property. Past President of LES Chile, Director of ACHPI (AIPPI group), Director of OMECH and Ambassador of Woman Board Up, an organization that promotes gender equity in Chilean corporate and startup boards. Founding Partner of Andes IP, a Chilean intellectual property firm, Andrea leads the Patents, Litigation and Technology Transfer team. Founding Partner of Andes Datatec, a company specialized in territorial information for NCRE projects, and co-founder of Juno Pharmaceuticals SpA, a startup that scales cancer therapies. Specialized in Technology Transfer, she assists in the negotiation of national and international Technology Transfer and Licensing contracts for a diversity of clients such as spin-offs, startups, Universities and Chilean Technology Transfer HUBS. She has developed and implemented intellectual property policies and regulations and spin-off formation for public and private universities and R&D centers as well as growing start-ups. She is a mentor, speaker at seminars and teaches courses on intellectual property for university students and researchers in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, doctoral programs in science, students and professionals. She is a lecturer at the WIPO INAPI Summer School, member of the PAI- WIPO INAPI inventor assistance program.
