Betty Yan is co-head of the Life Sciences Transaction practice. She advises pharmaceutical, biotech and other life sciences companies in a broad range of corporate, operational and transactional matters. Providing both a legal and business perspective, she assists clients in new entity formation and corporate restructuring; drafting and negotiating industry specific agreements (including manufacture and supply, distribution, research and development, technology transfer, and clinical trial agreements); complex M&A transactions involving single product, product line, business divisions, facilities, and corporate entities; and structuring strategic alliances, joint ventures, collaborations (including co-promotion and co-commercialization), and licensing arrangements.
