Frank Jeng is the head of licensing & litigation management practice of PurpleVine IP Group, a full-service intellectual property group based in China. He is one of few attorneys who have abundant experience in complex business transactions as well as dispute resolution. Having been a partner from a global prestigious law firm and an executive of a China-based firm focusing on monetization of intellectual property, Frank guides clients and cooperate executives through IP licensing negotiations, cross-border litigations, government investigations, capital markets and M&A transactions. Most recently, he is named as one of the World's Leading IP Strategists in IAM Strategy 300 by IAM Magazine (2023).

Frank leads PurpleVine's litigation and licensing practice, a team of which he built from scratch in 2020. He has managed over a hundred of IP contentious matters, including patent litigations, USITC 337 investigations, and licensing negotiations across Greater China, the US, Japan, Germany, UK, and South America since the establishment of the practice. Frank is also responsible for the group’s international marketing and development, in which he oversees the Group's European and US offices. He is selected by China National Intellectual Property Administration as a National Advisor for overseas IP dispute.
