Mike Schwartz is Adeia’s Senior Vice President, IP Litigation. He has over 25 years of experience successfully running high-stakes patent and patent-licensing litigation. For the past nine years, he has led Adeia’s patent litigation program, supporting Adeia’s patent licensing business. Mike leads the company in patent infringement and licensing litigation matters. Before that, he spearheaded a successful patent litigation strategy for its predecessors, Rovi and TiVo. He also regularly supports Adeia’s IP licensing and sales teams in their efforts to license Adeia’s patents. 

 

Beyond Mike’s litigation and licensing activities, he represents Adeia in several patent policy organizations and participates in pro-patent legislative reform efforts. Before joining Adeia, Mike was an intellectual property litigator at a leading global law firm for 16 years, where he represented a number of clients in patent infringement lawsuits, including numerous ITC trials, relating to digital content delivery, software, semiconductors, and other CS and electrical technologies. He has earned various awards and honors, including Winner In-House, Individual: Outstanding Ally at the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: North America 2020. Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and his J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School.
