Expert in intellectual property rights and technology transfer, since 2005 he works in CSIC Deputy Vice-Presidency for Knowledge Transfer where he currently holds the position of head of the Unit of Commercial Strategy and Internationalization. He worked as scientific researcher for 8 years in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He also worked for 3 years as R&D Project Manager in the industrial sector and for 2 years as Project Technical Assistant in the European Commission, for the monitoring and evaluation of Europeans projects in new materials and manufacturing technologies. He participates as an international expert in workshops organized by the World Industrial Property Organization (WIPO).
