Véronique Blum

Dr. Blum is an associate Professor in Accounting and Finance, in Université Grenoble Alpes and the founder of StradiValue, a valuation consulting company. 

She co-chairs the IP Valuation Committee of LES France and member of the LESI IPV committee and of the task force for an ESG-IP index trophy design. She is a member of the board of LES France and of the Observatoire de l’Immatériel. 

She obtained a Habilitation to Supervise Research at the University of Paris Saclay and teaches accounting and corporate finance to CPA candidates.Her research, published in international journals such as Ecological Economics, Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Comptabilité-Contrôle-Audit or the Revue Française de Gestion, focuses on risks in accounting, intangibles and valuation, and decision-making under uncertainty. 

She supervises a research program at Institut Louis Bachelier focusing on the identification and analysis of alternative performance measurements related to durable issues. This work will release open source material that supports large and small companies in their journey towards sustainability reporting in Europe and elsewhere. 

Véronique is involved in standard-setting issues as a member of the academic panel of European Financial Reporting Advisory Group. She is also involved in pioneering works in AI and durability as a member of the Multidisciplinary Institute in Artificial Intelligence, and of the Ecological Accounting Chair.
