Jim is the INL Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Programs Manager, and works closely with Jason on innovation culture initiatives at the lab. Prior to INL, Jim worked in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and software industries, for small and large companies spanning multiple continents. Additionally, he spent 8+ years as a venture capitalist specializing in technology startups, and then transitioned to large research organizations, including Qatar Foundation. Jim served as a national Energy I-Corps instructor and manages INL’s I-Corps program, among others. Jim has a B.S. in Chemistry from Valparaiso University, an M.Eng in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
