Dr. Sarieh Ghorbani holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Ghent University and specializes as an Intellectual Property Right consultant, IPR coach and Trade Secret Protection specialist, with a particular emphasis on assisting SMEs in establishing robust IP protection frameworks. Previously, she held the role of Senior Manager of Intellectual Property, Alliances & Licensing at Aphea.Bio, where she managed patent, trademark, and trade secret portfolios while providing strategic guidance to senior management.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ghorbani has played significant roles, including as an Associate Patent Attorney at Galapagos, contributing to her expertise in patent law. Her involvement in international R&D projects at Ghent University and her experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at VIB have further enriched her knowledge base. Additionally, she co-founded Sabz-Dastan-Varamin Greenhouse Co., demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and leadership qualities.
