Ana Amelia Araripe Montenegro is a specialized attorney with 15+ years of experience in the Intellectual Property area. After 10 years dedicated to IP work in prestigious law firms in Brazil (Momsen Leonardos & Cia., BM&A Advogados; Licks Attorneys), transitioned into an in-house role at Braskem S.A. (a leading petrochemical company of the Americas). Currently headquartered in the Netherlands, Ana is the IP Legal Manager responsible for the IP Transactional Area (focused on Licensing, Technology Transfer, Digital and Trademarks), and together with her team, provides IP support to all Company’s projects. Ana Amelia is member of the WIPO Board of Mediators, member of the leadership of LES Brasil (2024), former president of the ICC IP Committee (Brazilian Chapter - 2022), attended the Masters Program of the Brazilian PTO Innovation Academy (2014/2016), with a law degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2004/2009).
